Decisions Decisions

I know this isn’t the most life altering decisions but I need some input. I have wanted some shox forever and thanks to our wonderful President Dubya I am going to stimulate the economy. (Joking I don’t really love Dubya-quite the opposite) At any rate which ones do you all think I should get?
Let me break it down for you! I love blue but these blue shox are sort of BYU blue (not good for a Ute) I love the brown ones, or maybe I should be boring and go for white and buy some funky colored laces! Oh geez, could life get any harder! Tell me what you think!

Relax

Ah! Now I breathe a sigh of relief. Sorry to blog about school but it's what I have been obsessed with lately so please understand. Today I finished my last final and handed in my last paper. I must admit I felt a little sad but also incredibly excited. I love the U and will really miss being at school there. However, I can take pride in the fact that I will be donating thousands of dollars in pharmacy school tuition over the next four years. I think for the rest of the day I will sit on my butt and do nothing!

Becoming a grown up

I will be graduating in a less than two weeks and have been reflecting on the past few years in school. I have been at the U since I was 19 so being here and in school is pretty much my entire adult life. I have had many fun adventures. Here are a few of the highlights!

- Had my first full time job (University of Utah athletic dept.)
- Lived with Cammie and Christian. I must add this was during her pregnancy with Cali. I shall never look at salt water taffy the same.
- Jayna and Mikey got hitched
- Was with my sweet niece Cali hours after she was born
- Learned how to live in the big city and even ride trax (yikes)
-Lived in the dorms with two crazy and fun roommates
- Learned that if you sleep on your notes the night before an exam you will get an A! I know this sounds crazy but it works.
- Worked in the University of Utah Registrars Office (that job is a whole other post in itself)
- Changed majors (political science to speech communication)
- Bought my first car (thanks Dad, Mom and Christian)
- Wrote a missionary for 18 months (thank you Lord that one didn’t work out)
- Worked at the Costco food court and still consider it one of my favorite jobs. I have a love of pizza making and wish that it could be an actual degree.
- Sung in the University Institute choir
- Decided to go on a mission (luckily that one flopped)
- Met one of my lifelong friends Blair (he is a true friend, he even unclogged me and my roommates toilet for us and you can’t believe what is was clogged by) story forthcoming
-Lived in a house of 4 girls and 5 guys and it was a total blast.
- My best friend Mckette got married and had 2 kids in the time I have been in school! You go girl, or I have just been in college a very long time!
- Gained the freshmen 15
-Moved to Logan after vowing to myself never to leave Salt Lake
-Worked for an old man attorney in Logan
- Moved to Price after vowing to myself and many others never to move home! (I eat my words a lot)
-Worked as a victim advocate for the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office
- Did many online courses while living in Price
-Served as the relief society president (yeah I know, don’t laugh)
- Brandt was called, left and returned from his mission
- My baby boy Carter was born!
- Was a baby sitter for Cali, and then Cali and Carter
- “Earned” my first D ever! Ouch that one still hurts. I will have you know that despite this grade I am not a slacker and even with that damn D I am graduating with a 3.5
- Lost the freshman 20.
- Went on my first hunting trip (yes I cried)
-Have celebrated 2 wedding anniversaries
- Reunited, made out, dated, engaged and married the love of my life!
- Moved back to Salt Lake finally
- Currently living in an apartment that is sort of like a dorm (funny how things come full circle)
-Graduating with zero debt! (and you thought all those jobs were just for fun)
- Became a grown-up I think
- Helped Tyler get into pharmacy school
- Will graduate in a few short days and will probably whine about how much I miss it. I have loved being in college and can’t wait for the next adventure.

Please anyone out there feel free to add to the list if I have left anything exciting off!

Me bloggin?

This is so funny! My sister has been blogging for awhile and now that I will be graduating in 2 weeks I will finally have time to join the fun. Let me explain the name of our blog.
Tyler and I are from the same small town. (Our parents live 2 blocks from eachother) We met when I was 12 and Ty was 15! We wouldn't exactly call ourselves "white trash" however, we take pride in our small town upbriging and love all of the things we have in common because of it. Yes we are home grown, but inspite of it we have managed to graduate from college, and get into pharmacy school. At the same time I can't make any promises that I won't say "fer" and "er" every once in awhile! Hope you enjoy getting to know us better!
