Happy

Tyler has been so happy having animals in his man cave. It got me thinking about all the simple pleasures of life. Is there anything that makes me as happy as dead animals make Tyler? Yes there's lots! Here are just a few!

Spending time with my best buddy!

Without getting too mushy, Tyler is awesome. Sometimes when he gets out of class he meets me half-way between my office and our apt. We lovingly call this spot the hickory stick. (don't ask me why, we are just kind of weird) Every time I see Tyler there it makes me so happy and I get a huge cheesy school girl grin on my face! simple, but happy.

Thinking about the desert

Some of my best family memories have been on the desert. When I get bummed I think about beautiful things we have seen and wonderful hikes and adventures.

Learning from the wild meowzers.

Seeing Cali, Carter, and Caleb grow up has been one of the highlights of my life. I love when they come to visit and the fun things we do like jump in leaves, play Hannah Montana, and take little adventures. They are little gifts to me because they remind me of all the sweet simplicity around us.

Dreaming about graduation

Every week I get a little closer, and with cap, gown, and hood ordered I am trying to keep positive thinking and good energy going!

There are so many little happy moments in a day that make me grateful to be alive. These are just a few. I hope all of you have some sweet moments that bring you joy as well!

Yesterday when I walked in my house, this is what I saw...

Yes friends don't be jealous but I am the proud owner of these two fine creatures!
Tyler's antelope had a long 2 year vacation with the Gilsons and the Monsens (thanks you guys! where would I have put him in a one bedroom) and Tyler's deer from last fall was just finished.

Tyler's man cave is now complete with our school stuff, desk, and two friends to keep him company.
In the words of Tyler "The boys are home!"
Stop by anytime and you can say hello to our new additions.
Are we officially rednecks? probably!

Whirlwind Weekend!

This weekend was nuts! Tyler and I have both been finishing huge projects, tests, and assignments for school. Because we were so bored we decided it would be fun to move apartments! Come visit and you can see our new mansion! (2 bedrooms instead of 1)

Brandt arrived on Thursday to help me because Tyler had a test the next day. We moved to our hearts content. I have the best brother ever, he is always around to give me help! On Friday we finished up with some help from our faithful home teacher Jordan and his son Brock. James and Tammi were also in town for the weekend and were our first official visitors in the new pad.

Next, we went to Trolley Square for a delicious meal at Rodizio! I think Brandt, Tyler, and James, may have been drunk on delicious meat! We also stopped by this weird African store and I got my picture taken with this fertility statue. (If you are wondering yes there is a big monkey weiner right behind me in that picture)
It was a great weekend! Thanks to Brandt, James and Tammi for visiting and making our weekend a blast!

MOM Check it out! We Made the Advertisement!

Totally freaked yesterday when the MS society called and told me that our story went out yesterday! Ryan, from the society, had lots of calls and response to my mothers amazing story (particularly her aqua size expertise!) My Mom's success generated a lot of buzz and I was so so so excited (yes I cried)! Mom you inspire me, everyone you meet, and also lots of people with MS! I love you! infomercials have done it again...

Being so crazy with school and work I have learned to appreciate the simple pleasures of life. Hypothesis: Did the perfect brownie pan produce perfect brownies? Read on to find out!!!

Ever since I was young I have loved infomercials! The happy hosts, the wonderful products, and the catchy slogans. I have been caught more than once watching them and marveling at these life alterning items. Someday I will be that old lady going crazy with the credit card buying everything on TV!
Why do I love them? Because they have never let me down. Brandt is equally addicted to them. This weekend Brandt, Tyler and I enjoyed partaking of these precious gems! Were they perfect? HELLS yeah they were!
The perfectness and quality of the product was just as exciting to me as the brownies themselves! That's when you know life is good! Please come to visit me and I will make you some!

Pharmacy Gala 2010

On Thursday Tyler and I went to the annual pharmacy gala. We had a great time enjoying an amazing dinner and looking like fancy people! It was also nice to see Tyler and his study buddies outside the library for a change! Here are a few pics from the event.
