Brandt's Big Day 25!

September 28th was the big day! My little brother is officially a 25 year old! Brandt and Alexis were nice enough to invite us to the wild party! Brandt you are the best brother in the world! Happy Birthday!

Weekend Fun

This weekend Tyler and I went on a nice picnic in East Canyon! The leaves were so beautiful. We hiked, talked and had a great time. Hope you had a great weekend too!

16 Weeks!

Happy 30th Tyler!!

Tyler finally turned the dirty thirty! Wow we started dating when he was just a young 23 year old! I am so glad he is mine forever! Every year gets better and better!
Tyler's birthday was a blast! When Tyler got home from rotation, he was surpised by some $20.00 dollars bills tied into bows and a beautiful new hat!
Combining Tyler's love of the outdoors and his love of the Utes!

We had a bunch of friend over to eat. Tyler grilled delicious steak and chicken!
Tyler's favorite! Tiramisu cheesecake from cheesecake factory! This stuff is so bad and so amazing!
Tyler showing his Utah pride!
Love you lots Ty! I hope 30 is your best year yet!

Rock Spring and New MuMu

I took a quick RS trip this weekend! It was really fun spending time with Cammie, Christian and the kids! There was much crafting, nail painting, wii playing, and Caleb chasing! I must congratulate Cammie who took 4th place in the 5k she ran on Saturday! I was close behind her! jk I was walking! I can't wait to see them again soon! Thanks you guys!
In all of our running around, I didn't get many pics. However, Cammie was nice enough to snap this pic of me and little Gils! I would like to say for the record this is a legit old navy maternity dress. When I tried it on for Tyler he said he really liked the new ""mumu!" Thanks honey!

Seminar 2 DONE!!!

Tyler Gilson has officially completed his seminars!!!! He serioulsy spanked seminar 2 so hard! What is seminar? Well it's a 45 minute presentation on a pharmaceutical topic/ research where your classmates and teachers get to grill you! I know it's a blast! It takes months and weeks of preparation and Tyler did amazing.

We agonized over the handouts, slides and presentation. I went to Tyler's 1st seminar last spring so I wanted to attend his final seminar. Yesterday when we were hauling in the cookies, handouts, seminar swag, etc. I said to Tyler, "Did Allen's wife come to his seminar?" Tyler responded, "Bethany I hate to tell you this, but none of the wives come to their husbands seminars!" Well this one does! I would not have missed if for the world. Thankfully Tyler said he wanted me there so he could have a smiling face in the crowd. It's so weird how you can get more nervous/excited for someone else than for yourself!

I am so proud of Tyler. Not only was the presentation great, but he really worked his butt off and had a lot to juggle! Love this guy so much!

Turbo Kick Mama and Baby!

Want to get your a$$ kicked by a pregnant lady!? Well just come to the field house! I am loving my baby bump and my big awesome turbo boobs! One thing is for sure this kid is going to have some serious turbo kick moves when he/she enters the world!

A huge thanks to my students for making class so fun and enjoyable!

September 11, 2011

3,000 American Flags EHS

It was really nice being able to commemorate September 11th by going to church. We also spent some time in the afternoon watching the history channel and hearing the amazing rescue stories from that day.
September 11, 2001,I was doing my hair getting ready for school when my Mom told me the World Trade Center had been hit by a plane. At first we all thought is was an accident. Then as I was leaving for school she told me about the second tower and said, "they think it's terrorists" to which I responded, "what's a terrorist?" Wow how the world has changed since then. When I got to school all of us stayed glued to the TV the entire school day. We would go from class to class but all we did was watch the coverage. Since I was in high school back then, I thought it was fitting to share these pics my Dad snapped with his phone of the high school today.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great time spending Labor Day weekend with our families! One thing I love about my Dad is he is always finding fun things to do. We headed to the golf course (not to golf) but to ride golf carts, see the new nine holes, and eat lunch! It was really fun!

My mom and I made salsa! The finished product will be posted later.

The Gilson's had a fun nieghborhood BBQ! It was delicious!

I should have got a pic of my dear frined Mckete! We had lunch and she glamoroized me with glitter toes!

Motivation!!!

If you need an amazing dose of motivation today please click the link below. My sister Jayna has suffered with back problems for many years and gained weight as a result.
She has literally worked her a$$ off! She isn't just focused on weight loss, she is totally committed to getting healthy and strong! Love that!
We all face challenges that seem impossible, but anything is possible if you committ to it! I am so proud of my sister for her hard work. She is completely dedicated to her goals and I hope someday I can be as awesome as her!

Even if you don't know her, why not leave her a comment about how incredible she looks!
