Memorial Day Weekend

I hope all you had a great holiday weekend! I was so excited to get to spend time with Tyler. Being apart sucks but it really makes you appreciate the time you have together.

Friday: Tyler came home! We ate a macaroni grill and relaxed!

Saturday: We shopped the entire day away. Tyler had fun looking and shooting new bows and I shopped my guts out on new school clothes. Yeah shut up I know my program is online, but school shopping is a time honored tradition that should not be lost!!!

Sunday: Church

Monday: We started the day by going to park city (hooray more shopping!). We went to a few other stores and then headed up red butte for a hike. It was so much fun just being together.

Just a few funny Gilson observations from us "non-city kids." This was the first hike I had ever been on with steps, dog crap bags, and a drinking fountain. It was still super beautiful though!

After the hike we went to our new favorite restaurant Settebello. I found out that this amazing place makes pizza just like the Italians. Tyler, in his little Italian heart, always told me there was nothing like it America. But now there is! The guy who opened the restaurant is from Sicily and this food was amazing. After dinner we had some delicious Gellato (Italian ice cream) The whole experience was so fun. Please come visit and we will take you there! (Christian)

So amazing. It's light, delicious, vegtably goodness! ahh
Here we are in Italy! Jk (we wish)

After dinner we went to the gateway and watched the water fountains for awhile. It was a great weekend. I look forward to this 4 day work week and seeing my husband again!

Who do I look like???

Alright well since our last discussion regarding "who do you look like" I had some updates. I remembered a few years back that several returned missionary friends told me I looked like this girl in the preach my gospel manual. Not exactly a movie star, and not necessarily a compliment but hey.

Then today when I was talking to my co-workers about who they looked like. My friend Josh informed me that while he and his wife were watching Mama Mia they both thought i looked like the girl on the show. Okay, I don't see it but it was still nice. He also mentioned that it might be because all of the singing and dancing around and such! Here are the comparisons!

Who do you look like?

I was listening to the radio this morning as I was driving home from Castle Dale. I was seriously laughing my guts out. The theme of the show was "who do you look like" People were calling and and telling the DJ's who they had been compared to. There was everything from Angelina Jolie to Elliot on ET; it was hilarious. So I want to know, who do you look like? Personally I have never been compared to anyone else besides Brittany Spears! JK. However, my hot husband has been compared to Vigo Mortensen. So please tell me who people say you look like! This will be hilarious!

First week apart

This weekend was a blast, and it would have been even better had I remembered my camera~!Ah! Anyway, the good news is I got to see Tyler and our families. Friday we got to hang out and spend time with my family. On Saturday I spent time with my Mom and Dory, Tyler spent the day helping his family setup for the annual SFW banquet. Tyler's family is in charge of the banquet and the whole goal is to raise money for wildlife improvements. There are drawings and prizes and Tyler won an awesome gun which was a huge thrill for him. Sunday we celebrated Brian's birthday with a great BBQ. Overall it was a wonderful fun time. I can't wait to see Tyler again this weekend!

Changes

The past few weeks have been full of changes. Tyler finished his first year of pharmacy school!! His grades were awesome and he also received another scholarship for next year! He is amazing! I can't believe how fast this year has flown. I am still working all day, teaching turbo kick 3 nights a week, and I start grad school next week. Life has been busy and exciting.
In sad news Tyler moved to Price for his 5th year of firefighting. I already miss him like crazy. Being apart last night we both slept like sh**! 1 day down only 98 more to go! Help!

Family Friday! Cammie!

This week goes out to Cammie, my oldest sister and best buddy! Cammie and I have had many wonderful adventures! Each time we get together hilarity ensues. What would each day be without her uproarious adventures and stories! Last year I was able to work with Cammie which was one of the most fun experiences in my life. Wednesdays and Fridays quickly became my favorite days at work. As some of you know Cammie now lives in Wyoming and I miss her a lot. Luckily we still get together a lot and have many fun times! Cammie I can't imagine life without you, it would be so lame! Love you!
