Getting ready for Baby Brock!

Being pregnant has been one of the neatest, craziest, scariest, wonderfulest (yes I went there) experiences of my life. The last few weeks have flown by. We are getting so excited for our baby boy to get here!!!

I have been nesting like crazy! Scrubbing the bathroom, reorganizing drawers, deep cleaning the kitchen, and what every 9 month pregnant woman should do-detail the cars! Aside from the insane amount of cleaning, I have had some time to get Brock's room ready!

I made these fabric letters! Here is his crib and bedding. I made his rug while Tyler was on rotation in South Dakota. The rug is made out of strips of jersey knit. It only took about 1,000 hours. I would not recommend making one! jk it was fun!
And finally! Brock's animals to keep him company! (Now you can see why we had to go with the forest animal theme) I hope Brock will like them! I am slightly terrified of the thought of them staring at me in the middle of the night, but it works!

He also has a little deer and a littler bear sitting on his changing table as if the large animal heads weren't enough!

Now for the mother stuff!
Since becoming pregnant I have felt like I "deserved" a lot things. I will admit it is kind of selfish, but in the words of my dear sister Cammie, "buy everything you want before you have kids, because once they are here you will never buy anything for yourself!" Great advice!
After testing out millions of rockers and recliners we finally found this beautiful chair! I love it! Being 5'1, it is hard to find a chair where my feet actually touch the floor!!! I have already rocked my baby in it many nights when he is kicking me!!

I got this fun new diaper bag! Not too pursy looking (Tyler's request) Not to diaper baggy looking! I love it!
And finally a few mother's outfits. I told Tyler I didn't want to leave the hospital looking like a slumperdinker! These pants are old navy soft drawstring flares and I think I need them in about 10 more colors, they are awesome!

Work Baby Shower

Last week at work my amazing co workers through me a baby shower! Both me and baby are feeling so loved! I was completely overwhelmed by the nice thoughts, gifts, and time that everyone took! I am so grateful to work with all these amazing people!

34 Weeks!

Wow time really flies when you are growing a huge kid in you! I have honestly loved being pregnant and having my little man with me all day!
I can't wait for him to get here so I can squeeze him!!

Turbo Kick @ 34 weeks!

Fitness instructing is such a joy for me! I honestly thought I could teach right up until the day I popped! I even joked about going into labor at the field house! However, feeling off centered and needing to bring the workouts down a few levels, I decided to finish January and let my friend take over for the rest of the semester. It was a hard "last class." Some of my students have been with me since 2009 when I started teaching! I love my students and can't wait to get back in May! Here are a few fun photos from Monday January 30.

Baby Shower January 21, 2012

This is going to be one spoiled little boy! The girls in my ward are so thoughtful and awesome! We had a great time swapping fun baby and labor stories! Thanks to Raquel and Candace for such a great baby shower!

The "how large am in toilet paper squares game!" Ten squares!! YIKES!

The girls and decorations! These ladies may look like Mormons but they know how to party!

Love all of you! Thanks for making this new Mama feel so so loved!
