A Trip to Remember

I was back to Wisconsin for some more adventures. Let me just say this trip was one never to be forgotten. Tyler wasn't feeling well which made it hard to be away. I was also paranoid that Cammie would go into labor and I would be stuck on the other side of the country. The good news is I am here to tell the tale! I will spare the details and give a quick recap.

Epic (the company where I was training) is a health care computer software company. The training center always has a lot of interesting decor so I wanted to post a few of the things I saw this time.
These two weren't titled but I thought they were so unique and beautiful. They reminded me of something Jayna would love.
This one was especially cool because some of those small round circles are old watch faces, very cool.
This piece was disturbing and yet I couldn't look away. It was called multiple personalities for obvious reasons.

Okay back to the recap

  • My flight out of Wisconsin was delayed for two hours!
  • I luckily didn't have to sleep in the Chicago airport (but almost)
  • I saw John Walsh from America's most wanted in Chicago
  • My goal of reading 100 pages in the Book of Mormon was met and exceeded because of the delay
  • When I arrived in Salt Lake my luggage was lost fortunately I had my resilient little brother who demanded an overnight kit, and $50.00 for me to replenish my missing cargo (again these things only happen in Brandt world)
  • Had a 19 year flight attendant call me "hun"
  • I got a $180.00 flight credit for the lost luggage! Jayna in Seattle here I come!

Hello Wisconsin

Greetings to all of you from Wisconsin! I thought it would be freezing but it's actually very fallish and beautiful! More to come and pictures too! But what am I doing blogging and working on homework, there is a jacuzzi in my hotel room... I'm out!

This is just great!

Yesterday Cammie needed me to watch Carter while she went to her Dr. appointment. Since the appointment was short, Carter and I just walked around the medical center looking at the beautiful fall leaves. He wanted to gather the leaves and build a forest on a table.

We were looking at the leaves when he said to me, "Bethany this is just great, two friends gathering leaves together, this is just great!" It made me want to cry because it was so simple and sweet. Later we went to lunch and he said to me and Cammie. "Guys this is just great, three friends eating lunch and sipping on their drinks together!" We all agreed.

I get really busy and forget all the simple and wonderful things that make my life great! I'm glad I have this sweet boy to remind me!

Here is the forest!

Tyler-My hero!

On Wednesday morning I was working out in our house. It got hot, so I propped the door open with my fitness ball. I was just doing my thing when all the sudden I saw a tiny mouse sneak into my house!!!! I am terrified of mice. When I was little I my Mom caught a mouse in a trap in my room and told me if I didn't keep my room clean I would die of hauntavirus. Since that day I have associated mice with death.
Anyway, I started screaming bloody murder and Tyler ran out of our bedroom screaming, "what is wrong, what's going on." I couldn't even answer him because I was crying and screaming and had run into the bedroom and was standing on my bed. Tyler started looking around for the little sh** and I was still in hysterics. I got down from the bed and went to the bathroom to wipe away my tears and get my composure. Tyler yelled, "get back in the bedroom and shut the door." I ran back in my room and jumped back on my bed. I heard Tyler smacking the broom and chasing the mouse around. Within a few seconds Tyler had it killed, bagged and was taking it out to the dumpster. When he got back inside all I could say is, "Tyler you are so brave." Tyler officially knew he married the biggest wimp of all time! It was a wonderful way to start the morning!

Happy Birthday to me!

Yesterday was the best 25th birthday ever! It was such a fun day. Thanks to everyone who made my day great!
I took these worm cupcakes to work for my birthday treat!
I had lunch with Tyler and when I got home I had this wonderful present to unwrap! Do I have the best husband in the world? Yes i think so!

We went to dinner at Ruth's diner, one of our favorite places in emigration canyon.

Then we were off to see thriller! I have wanted to see this show since I heard about it my freshmen year of college. All Halloween dance numbers and every type of dance you can imagine!

There were scary goblins walking around the theater before the show started.

People were so scared of them, check out the awesome makeup. Plus they totally stay in character it was so fun.
Yikes!
Another new friend from the dead!

When we got home! We ate delicious ice cream cake! Thanks Tyler!

" Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. "

This weekend we were off to Cedar City for Dory's debut in Macbeth! This is my favorite Shakespeare tragedy so it was doubly awesome!

When we arrived in Cedar we went to see Dory at work. She played one of the witches and was a theater house manager with her hair was in full effect. (luckily she works for the festival so they didn't mind)

Of course I had to take a picture of her!
And whilst waiting how could I pass up the opportunity to pose with Shakespeare himself sitting there in the lobby!

The play was amazing. My favorite person was of course my sis. The costumes, the characters, and the production was awesome. I wish I could have seen it twice.

After the show Tyler snapped this picture of me and the witch! Dang I thought my hair was big! Dory you rock!

Conference Weekend

Wow it's almost the weekend again! Conference weekend was so much fun. We had a great time and loved having Brand and Kilgore over! We made Carmel apples, watched conference, did homework, went to breakfast, shopped in park city, and many more fun things! I learned a lot from conference and it gave us all a spiritual boost!
Tyler and Brandt going to the priesthood session.

Best show on T.V.!

Does anyone else completely love Glee? I am addicted! I am not a big T.V. watcher and I rarely find a show that I actually schedule into my day, but this show rocks. It is about a high school glee club and their adventures. It is full of high school drama and music! What more could you ask for? Each week it gets better and better! Here is a clip if you missed last nights episode.
