Lagoon!

On Saturday I went with Cammie and the kids to Lagoon. We had a blast! Cali was up for anything, Carter loved the kiddie rides, and Caleb loved strolling in the sun. My favorite ride was rattlesnake rapids! All of us were soaked, it was a great day.
Cammie and Cali after their ride on the samuri! Cali loved it, Cammie almost puked!
Baby Caleb loving the stroller rides! This kid is the best. He took two naps and smiled and laughed the whole day!
Me and Cali!
Carter on his very favorite ride-the carousel. Every time he tried a ride he asked me if he could go back to the horses, giraffes, and bears. I think he rode it 12 times.
Carter and I in the airplane. This really didn't seem to bad, but Carter was in sheer terror screaming "why did you make me do this, I hate this, get me off of this!"
Carter in the "shooter game." In his words, "Bethany did you see me get those bad guys."
Me and my sis!
Stopping for a snack while Cali rode the wild mouse!

Cinnamon Rolls

Okay so ever since I bought Tyler a cinnamon roll I wanted to learn how to make them! My dear friend Krista (aka Martha) makes the most divine cinnamon rolls you have ever tasted! Last night she gave me a lesson and it was a blast. Here is a link to the recipe if you want to give it a try! Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Thanks Krista for the lesson and the wonderful time! Thanks to Tyler (her Tyler) for teaching me how to lay in a tanning bed! Ha ha!

Congrats Ty! 1 Down

On Friday Tyler finished his first rotation at the Redstone clinic. They of course loved him and were sad to see him go. His preceptor wrote great things about him, and he passed with flying colors. It may seem like a small milestone but I am so proud of him for his hard work. It is not easy having to pay tuition to work and not get paid, and Tyler is pulling in about 50 hours a week so I am really proud! Here is the celebratory cinnamon rolls I bought Tyler for his big day! (I had to start small) Love you Ty!

Memorial Day

We were able to go to Castle Dale for memorial day. We wish we could have spent more time than just one day, but we made the most of it. Tyler went fishing with Brian and his Dad he had a great time! My Dad and I went on a 5 mile walk through Castle Dale and Orangeville and then I hung out with my Mom and Dory. Later that Day we had a BBQ with the family! Here are a few pics from the day.

A fun date!

Now that it only took a month to blog our 4 day vacation, I wanted to write about a fun date Tyler and I had a few weeks ago.

We went to the classy dollar theater to see Avatar! We took our seats and the previews started rolling. About 30 seconds in, the theater went dark. The manager explained that there was a slight technical issue which would take 10 minutes to resolve. We sat patiently and watched a group of teenagers dare their cute little 11 year old brother to hit on the girls sitting in front of us. After 10 minutes the manager returned and said the movie would begin in five minutes. Before we knew it, the 11 year old was at the front of the movie theater with an announcement.

"Hello everyone, my name is Vincent, I will be your entertainment for the next 5 minutes. I will be performing the song love story by Taylor Swift."
He burst into a very moving rendition of love story! Some people were singing along, and by the end we were all clapping and in hysterics. Meanwhile his teenage brothers walked out of the theater. The performance ended and the boy ran out of the theater yelling to his brothers, "Hey guys where's my money!"
Obviously a dare gone wrong but hilarious none the less! It was a date we won't soon forget.
