Thanksgiving 2009: Surprises and Sizzler!

This year my Parents, Brandt and Dory planned to join Tyler and I in the City. Because I am lazy, and because my oven in the size of an easy bake, we had plans to go to sizzler!
On Wednesday night Jayna called and said her and Mikey were making the 10 hour drive from Washington! They arrived around 6 am and my parents were completely surprised! It was a great day!
This was a blast I never want homemade Thanksgiving again. No overeating, no leftovers, no cooking!
Peacocks!

Gilsons and Millers!
My cute little sweety pie!
After our meal we went to the schools game room. Tyler and his pharmacy buds have spent many hours here. It was great, ping pong, foosball and pool. It was hilarious!

Tyler and my Dad! My Dad is so good at Ping Pong!
Brandt and Dory!
Mother Jayna and Mikey!
Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving!

Fun in Wyoming

Last weekend I was able to take Friday off and spend some time with Cammie, Christian and the Wildmeowzers. We had a great time playing games, holding Caleb, and making cookies. Cammie also let me give Caleb a bath whereupon he pooped on my arm, and peed all over Cammie! The whole weekend was full of laughs and hilarity. I can't wait to see them again!

Thankful

I am so grateful for all the millions of blessings in my life. It's nice to have a holiday to remind us of what we have. I remember a quote that said, "The secret to having everything you want, is believing you already do." I really do feel that way about my life. I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday and will have time to reflect on what makes your life great. Here are a few just to start.

The gospel. The more complicated life gets the more I realize that how much God loves us and that living the gospel brings us so much happiness.
Tyler: How does it feel to be married to the kindest, smartest, hottest guy in the world? Pretty awesome. Tyler makes me want to be my very best. I love this guy.
My Family: I don't have a picture of everyone Peacock's and Gilson's, but without my family I would be lost. I have the best family in the world.

School: Sometimes I am not grateful for the extra work, but I am so grateful to have an education and to be able to further my education now. I have had many amazing and wonderful teachers who have made a powerful impact.I can't wait to be teaching my own college classes. Learning is a gift.

Work: I am so blessed to have a job that I enjoy and that pushes me. Working for the U has been an amazing experience and I look forward for the years to come.

Health: There was a time when I thought being healthy was stifling and ridiculous. Now I am happy for my health and happy for my job as a fitness instructor. I love seeing my students enjoy the benefits of being healthy. I am grateful to be able to walk, see, hear, smell, and enjoy a full life.

Tatum B Photography

Last month my friend Tatum was kind enough to lend her expertise to Tyler and I. Tatum is a very skilled photographer and I was so happy with how beautiful these photos turned out. Thanks Tatum! Here are just several of our favorites!

Happy Birthday Carter

Today my cute little nephew turns 4! I can't believe what a big boy he is. I will never forget the day he was born. Tyler and I were engaged and we went to the hospital to see Cammie. It was a wonderful memory! Now he is a big brother, and we have almost been married 4 years. It's crazy how time flies!
Carter is smart, sassy and a cuddler. He is all boy! I am so glad he is my nephew!
Happy Birthday buddy boy!

This is it!

This weekend my friend Krista and I went to the MJ movie This is it! It was a truly amazing production and since it's not in theaters anymore here is a little clip. I am certainly buying this one!

Halloween Part 2

The Pollastro family was in town waiting for piggy honk to be born! Cammie was scheduled to get induced on Friday but was bumped until Tuesday. It was a bummer because I bought piggy honk a few Halloween outfits. Here he is with his Halloween clothes on!
Cammie brought the kids to my house so we could play for awhile on my playground. We had hours of fun! Brandt was also in town which made things extra fun!

Thanks for the face full of leaves Brandt they tasted great!
Oh no, watch out Carter!
The kids brought their costumes and we trick or treated in my court. It was so fun having them! Now if we could just get that baby here!
