I was so lucky to take a few days off work and hang out with Tyler. On Wednesday afternoon we decided to take a trip to the zoo. We live very close to the zoo and had never been before. I could never understand paying money to see something you are afraid of (i'm not an animal person.) But we actually had a wonderful time!

You've NEVER been to the Zoo? Wow! That's a first. Glad you had a good time. I have gone there at least once a year since I was a baby. And I will take my kids there at least once a year. Just a tradition of mine. They've really cleaned it up in the past couple years.

Oh my poor Bethany! This was the first time you'd been to the zoo? How have you lived all these years? I love the zoo!! I could do without the stinky smell, but I love it none-the-less. I would actually live with the monkeys if they let me! I love to sit and watch them. One year, I sat down and watched the little monkeys for hours! No joke! I think they're so freaking cute!
So proud of you for braving the zoo! You look good with a lemur!
Bethany, you were never afraid of our animals. I recall Dory having some cats while you guys were growing up too. I don't remember them scaring you. But I guess sticking with stuffed animals is an okay way to go. I will remember that for your next birthday.
