Wednesday Dec. 24th.
I joined Tyler and James for a quick run to Joe's Valley.
That little orange spec is Tyler hiking!
Later that night we went to the annual Grandma and Grandpa Gilson Party!
Christmas Morning! Tyler was gone hunting and then we opened presents. I am one spoiled girl! Tyler gave me some awesome presents and we had a blast surprising each other.
December 26
Tyler was gone hunting for most of the day. For me the day started out with an awesome turbo kick workout with Cammie and Melissa. Next I went rollerblading with Cali and then onto sledding. We were beat!

December 27
More Turbo, followed by Tyler killing his elk. Later that night we did presents with the Gilsons.

Carter was so impressed with Tyler's elk and Cammie overheard the following conversation.
Carter: Tyler I like your elk
Ty: Thanks
Carter: Do you eat it's head?
Ty: No we eat the meat!
Carter (thinking to himself) I like ribs!
Don't we all buddy! He is so dang funny!

Dec. 30 Celebrated our anniversary by night skiing! (see previous post)
Dec. 31 Tyler wanted to go back home to celebrate the New Year with our families. We spent new year's eve at Brian and Jens.
Jan. 1 2009
On New Years Day Tyler, Brandt and me went ice fishing. I have never been before, but I really liked it. After that Tyler and Brandt went shooting.
Jan. 2
We drove back home and relaxed!
It was a wonderful holiday and we had a great time! We are already making plans for next year. I have also been doing some Christmas shopping so I don't leave it all till the last minute in 2009!

I am glad you had a good holiday. You are quite the little outdoors woman aren't you? Ice fishing, hunting, shooting, sledding, rollerblading, oh my! I am slightly jealous...
It looks like you filled the holiday more than is humanly possible!
I would hate most of the stuff you did because I am a complete wimp!
Happy new year!
Dead elk and fish, snow, ice, frozen boogers and guns; is there any better way to spend your holiday break?! Why yes, surfing in Bali comes to mind. Will you please get me that for Christmas this year?
Thanks.
