Living in "The Village"

For those of you lucky enough to have visited my home, you may think it's all cinder block. But there are so many things I love about living in the University village! The University village was built in 1850 (or thereabouts, okay maybe 1960's) and has housed thousands (possibly millions) of students.

Here is my top ten reasons for loving where i live!!

10. I walk to work everyday. (sorry for all of you who have to fill up your gas tank more than once a month!)
9. There are a lot of nice people that greet me on my way to and from work.
8. The rent is NOT too damn high. We pay very low rent!
7. It is easy to get your visiting teaching done.
6. Cali and Carter love visiting and playing on the playground.
5. Utilities, cable, and internet are all included in the low rent! So I always come home to a warm house!
4. I walk home for lunch everyday.
3. The UPS guy leaves stuff at my neighbors and I know they won't steal it!
2. It only takes an hour to clean my entire apartment
1. You don't have to wonder if your neighbors have healthy sex lives. (you know they do!)

Come visit soon!

Oh Man! You can hear us all the way over here? I'll try to quiet down.

A sad part of living here...sometimes you can hear how terrible some couples' marriages are. You don't always hear the good stuff.

Great list!

Oh wow! The last one is great and so true. My favorite thing about the village was knowing when everyone around me went to the bathroom.
