Oh Brother.....and Mother in law

My mother in law, Tammi, is truly one of the nicest people I know. She was my young women leader and put up with me during my obnoxious teenage years. Inspite of that fact, she still let me marry her kid! She is a great mother and grandmother, and always make me feel included and loved. But today she has really gone above and beyond the call of duty.

My brother has been working at a farm for the summer and today he and his co-workers killed a ferocious badger! Now you might say, "what does this have to do with my mother in law?" Well Brandt wanted to “preserve the kill” and as it seems badgers need to be frozen before they get skinned. If they are not frozen their LICE, yes LICE will get everywhere! So Brandt called Tammi and asked if he could put his badger in one of their large deep freezers! AND SHE SAID YES!
He is even my own brother and I would have given him a big Hell no with that one. Tammi you are amazing! Above is the actual picture of the badger himself!

Now Brandt has two of his kills in the Gilson's freezer? This boy really needs to get back into school. Farm life has really impared his judgement. I hope Tammi doesn't get any lice in her freezer...

As you know I grew up in a house hold where dead creatures in the freezer are common place so I get a kick out this post. If Brandt wants I know a good taxidermist...my uncle Yory, he lives right next to your parents! And Cammie don't worry the "Lice-cicles" won't survive the freezer so no worries!

Monica! Funny you should mention that. Yory is the one who told him to freeze it!

That is AWESOME!! I just talked to my mom and she said that there is a raccoon in there too. I'm glad I know it's in there so I don't pee my pants next time I get in the freezer. LOL

Eew! I've never seen a badger, they look gross! Your mother-in-law is a much better person than I am! At least he asked- could you imagine opening your freezer and seeing that thing! Oh the lice, gross!

I think Tammi has had to put up with dead creatures for a long time so she's probably used to it. Still, you are right; that is WAY ABOVE the call of duty and exceeds all acts of niceness.
