Tonight I was making some Halloween sugar cookies and I wanted to share this delicious recipe with all of you. I got it from Chef Bryan on channel 2. Last time I recruited help from Cali and Carter because this recipe makes about 65-70 cookies. Happy Halloween!
6 ½ cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
4 ounces cream cheese
2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup dairy sour cream
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp vanilla
Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Set aside until ready to use.
Add butter, shortening, sugar and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and cream together.
Add the eggs, sour cream. Mix completely.
Mix in the baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.
Add the flour mixture and blend together. If dough is to wet, add more flour to accommodate.
Chill dough in refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Roll out, cut in desired shape and bake in a 375 degree oven for about 8 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
Decorate as desired and ENJOY!

I made sugar cookies yesterday but I took them to my moms to frost and never got to it. Then I left them there. But your cookies look alot better than mine did. Oh by the way, Me and Jen went to your dad's play last night and it was awesome!
They were delicious!
