New Job

There have been a lot of crazy things going on this past month. April will definitely be one for the record books!

Several months ago I began thinking about possible career changes. My job has been great for me, but I was in need of something new. I applied for a job in the IT department as a systems analyst working with a great team that I had worked with on the Epic project. (yes the project was Epic, but that is also the name of the software we implemented.. I digress)

Upon returning from Seattle I was offered the job! I was so ecstatic, nervous, stoked, scared, excited and thankful to have a new opportunity to learn and grow! These people are the dream team behind all that is IT for University of Utah Health Care! My last day in the training department was April 15th. Here are a few pictures taken on my last day of work. So far things have been great. I miss working with my great friends in the training department, but luckily I get to see them pretty often!
My boss and friend Scott. This is by far the best boss in the world. Did I cry on my exit interview-you betcha! Love working with this guy!
My good friend Lisa!
My work sister Tasha! This woman and I went through many months of hell and laughter together! She is a life long friend and I miss her terribly!
sad face in the empty cubicle!
Happy face in the empty cubicle!
My great training team friends!

Don't ya hate when something is both REALLY happy and really sad at the same time. That is how we have been feeling with this move. We have loved Logan. We have loved our ward, our house, our neighborhood. Luke has loved his job. But, we are so excited for our new adventures. Bitter sweet.
I'm so glad you have a new job. Hope you continue to love it! Once we move to Payson maybe we can play sometime!
