Tyler and I had a wonderful weekend. We went to the desert and attended the Castle Dale Day celebration. Today when we got home from church he got the call. He is currently on his way to California to battle the blaze in the Plumas National Forest. This weekend there were over 600 fire starts in nothern California! Yikes! It was a pyro/lightening mixture. If I am lucky he will only be gone for two weeks.

He is so brave, and I know it's hard for him to be gone but just think of all the tuition money rollin in! It also nice the he finally gets to see some real fire action!
I think I would die of heat exhaustion just wearing the clothes! He's a tough cookie for sure! So will he be in NorCal then? Tell him to stop at the Jelly Belly factory on his way home if he is.
