Tyler made it to California and worked a 24 hour shift shortly after arriving. All I can say is God is angry down there! Everyday they have new fire starts and they have over 600 firefighters there. Here are a few pics he sent to my phone.(he has the digital camera)

That is a giant Smokey, and giant chainsaw. Wow!
That is such a great thing he is doing. Imagine if there weren't people brave enough to fight fires like him. You are a great supportive wife, you know!
That chainsaw is wicked and I'm very impressed he can lift it! I agree, Smokey does look like a woodchuck. Last I heard there are 842 fires in CA alone right now- and that was Monday. With all this flooding and fires you would think someone would come up with a way to drain the Midwest and pump it to the fires. Of course it would be expensive but not as expensive as all the damage going on. Thanks Tyler for saving land, homes and lives!
