What's Inside Your Bod!

The body worlds exhibit was amazing. I would highly recommend going if you ever get the oppurtunity. It really made me appreciate how complex and amazing our bodies are. It was a very spiritual and memorable experience for me.

Cameras weren't allowed but here are a few pics from a Deseret News article. (Tom Smart Photographer)

The hurdler

The Javelin thrower

This was so awesome! Mom you would love this. It's just the nervous system plastinated! Brain, nerves etc.! So awesome!

This is an arterial configuration of the face. Basically all of the arteries in your head. Hello! now you know why you bleed so much when you get a face cut!

My very favorite guy! This picture is a little hard to see, but he is holding all his internal organs above his head. Also, his back muscles are pealed back so you can see the spine and ribs. Get it-nothing inside, he's holding it on the outside! I really loved this one.

Very cool! I hope to be able to get up to see this soon. The pictures are awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

And you'll have to let us know if you have any weird dreams about plastinated bodies.

That is so cool. Scott and I are going to go soon. I wish we got in for free. although we do get a discount because we are students. I am excited to go. How often do you get to see the insides of a REAL human body?!

Ooooooooooo that is so awesome!!! I wish I could see it. Seeing that just reaffirms in my mind how we must be divinely created because only God could make something so intricate and perfect.

I have always been facinated with the body and all the ways things could have gone wrong, and didn't, I am with Mary on this one, no theory of "evolution" could explain to me how our bodies are so perfect. What an amaizing experience...it gives new insight to certain conditions that we suffer from....especially the part about the nerviouse system...now you can actually see why it hurts when you stub your toe.
Thanks for the compliment about my new car I am super excited about it and all the possibiblities it opens up :)
